1. What is the Republic of Uganda?
A country located in Africa and the Middle East. The area is ㎢ 24.1 million yen, and about 43 million people live about the same size as the main state of Japan.

Speaking of Africa, many people may imagine deserts and savannahs, but because of the high altitude, the climate is relatively easy to spend even in summer.

Since it has been a British protector's territory in the past, the official language is English, but some people speak Luganda and Swahil.

2.History of Uganda
Around the 11th century, various ethnic groups formed kingdoms in Africa, but the "Kingdom of Buganda" had power among them.
It became a British protected territory at the end of the 19th century, but became independent as the Ugandan Federation in 1962. Since Mr. Museveni became president in 1986, much of the country has been stable.
However, the northern part of the north was in a state of civil war until 2006 due to the activities of an anti-government organization called LRA. It is said that there were many internally displaced persons.
Currently, the majority of the displaced have returned and are working on reconstruction.
